The Hornets are now in a position to choose who we want to play between Dallas and Denver.

Assuming the Lakers beat SAC on Tues...

If we beat Dallas Wednesday, assuming the Grizzles lose to Denver, we're playing Denver.

If we lose to Dallas on Wednesday, expect to see them on Sunday.

If the Lakers do lose, just switch roles. A loss against Dallas would give us Denver, and a win against Dallas would give us Dallas.

I'd much rather play Denver, so I'm hoping we go all out Wednesday and beat Dallas.

Weekend road trips to Denver are pretty tough. So selfishly I prefer Dallas.

I agree with the "Hornets prefer Denver" mindset for the most part, but do worry about the boys having to run in Denver and then again in Utah in the WCF.

I want the Nuggets as well, they play almost no defense and Carmelo has had the same playoff troubles as She-Mac. I'm not concerned with Dallas either though, CP matches up well with Kidd and Nowitizki isn't exactly a clutch player.

Give us Denver. Melo is more worried about his DUI. Camby vs TC ought to be a great battle and AI vs CP3 would be epic.

Besides...Dallas could be peaking right now. No way do I want to find out.

I'm hopeful there's more to the Melo DUI...apparently the cops drove him to the Ritz after he was arrested: http://www.duluthnewstribune.com/ap/index.cfm?page=view&id=D902KVMG1

If them losing to Seattle equals them peaking, bring them on.

We all know Byron will rest the starters tomorrow.
